On December 7, GuGengjun, member of the Standing Committee of Longgang District Committee, led groups to KTC for inspection on the epidemic prevention and control of Shenzhen/Hong Kong cross-border truck operation site. Ling Bin, KTC chairman, led groups to receive and accompany Gu’s groups during the whole inspection.

GuGengjun and the jury members visited KTC and inspected the entrance of the park, the truck handling point, the toilet for truck drivers, and the lounge for truck drivers, and inquired about the details of Shenzhen/Hong Kong cross-border trucks in KTC.

With the further knowledge of KTC’s all-round measures for epidemic prevention and control of Shenzhen/Hong Kong cross-border truck operation site, GuGengjun affirmed KTC’s work and proposed a guidance for the epidemic prevention and control work. He emphasized that KTC should take the main responsibility in epidemic containment, step up its vigilance, and deliver a strong performance in quarantine work. He also stressed that KTC should ensure 100% non-contact with cross-border truck drivers, and work to meet the basic demands for truck drivers such as catering, to minimize contact areas with truck drivers. He proposed that the relevant sub-district administrative offices should keep close contact with enterprises and deliver a good performance in joint containment against the epidemic.

KTC expressed sincere thanks to leaders at all levels for their valuable suggestions on epidemic containment. KTC would strictly take its main responsibility in epidemic prevention and control, formulate more detailed epidemic containment plan responding to the guidance by the district government to refine containment measures at Shenzhen/Hong Kong cross-border truck operation site, reduce risks and set up a shield for the company and its employees against epidemic.
